CBIU Dominica Issued Warning on Incorrect Information on EDF Contributions

Recently Government of Dominica, Citizenship by Investment Unit has issued a warning for some companies offering second citizenship in cost lesser than the amount mentioned on Government websites. These companies are issued a warning that their licenses for authorization will be revoked.

Below mentioned is the notice from CBIU Dominica.

WARNING: Incorrect Information on EDF Contributions Circulated
It has been brought to the Citizenship by Investment Unit’s attention that incorrect information is being circulated regarding changes to the EDF investment threshold. We hereby clarify that there have been no changes to the EDF option and that all contrary statement is baseless. Authorised Agents disseminating such information are warned that they may lose their licence.

EDF investments remain:

  • USD100,000 for a Single Applicant
  • USD 175,000 for a Main Applicant and Spouse
  • USD 200,000 for a Main Applicant with up to three qualifying dependants
  • USD 25,000 for an additional qualifying dependant, other than the Spouse
